i ABSTRACT The objective of this final degree project was to determine the feasibility of creating an event organizing company in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. In order to comply with the general objective, a series of feasibility studies were prepared, beginning with the market study, where the characteristics of the demand and current service offer are analyzed, as well as future projections. Taking into account the results of this study, the marketing plan for the new company was elaborated. It was decided to follow a generic strategy of differentiation focus, since the company will specialize in the organization and coordination of weddings, leaving for the future the inclusion of new events. The offices will be located on Beni Avenue, almost the second ring, in the Top Center building. These offices will serve to receive clients, especially the first interview. In the technical study the service provision plan was defined, planning to start with 35 events per year, until reaching 50 in the fifth year, which implies almost one event per week. An initial investment of Bs148.038 was calculated; of which only 29,4% is for the purchase of fixed assets. Then revenues and costs were projected, and an after-tax result of Bs-32.289 in the first year and Bs52.950 for the fifth year was calculated. The financial evaluation shows that the net present value (NPV) of the project will be Bs25.026,43 and the internal rate of return (IRR) of 14%, so it is recommended to implement the new company.
