xi ABSTRACT The present project has as its main purpose the implementation of Emotional Intelligence in managerial level load profiles through an organizational development plan. In particular for five managers belonging to the Guabirá Sugar Mill. In the development of this project, it was possible to identify some shortcomings within the administrative area with the help of the head of human resources through a semi-structured interview, which show that the mill manages an outdated, not very competent administration. Therefore, a focus on Emotional Intelligence was chosen, starting with the gathering of information using the structured interview technique for the creation of five profiles of managerial levels that contemplate the necessary main components of emotional intelligence. By virtue of this, the job profiles were built taking into account emotional intelligence. It seeks to achieve the most suitable level of the personnel in charge as well as the rest of the workers of the Mill. Considering that knowledge and experience (hard skills) are important to any company, emotional intelligence is of vital importance and that this is a true sign of successful and outstanding performance in the workplace. The managerial levels were chosen as these, being in command, should be an example for the entire organization, and although the development of this ability is something that is born from each person; in this case of each manager, it manifests itself in the organization as a whole
