ABSTRACT The calculation and design of post-tensioned beams is undoubtedly a fundamental process in post-tensioned structural design, and therefore requires special attention. In the present work, a computer program is developed that automates the process of calculation and design of post-tensioned beams by means of the Equivalent Frame Method for the calculation of moments, which, for beams with several spans, the manual calculation becomes very tedious and for effects design requires the use of more sophisticated methods such as finite elements. The document presents the theoretical bases of the method and the necessary considerations for the elaboration of the computational program, as well as its limitations. Likewise, a user guide for the use of the developed executable program is presented. The results obtained were compared with the "ADAPT-PT" software, which is an advanced post-tensioning software for beam frames, slabs and floor systems in buildings and parking structures, obtaining acceptable results, however, the user must understand the fundamentals and assumptions of analysis and design taken.
